Christ Church of Peace Pastor Gary DeBusk will be in the national news again this week, this time a video interview with CNN's Miles O'Brien. Tune in to hear Gary discuss our Know Thy Neighbor Florida ministry against the Florida Marriage "Protection" Amendment. Pray that God's love flows through Gary and guides his words to help change hearts for the better.
The show is running at 9, and we've been told Gary will be on around 9:15am.
I can't speak for Jesus or God but I don't think either one would be promoting Gay marriage.
We should keep the peace and let people do what they choose to do BUT we should not condone it and let them think it is ok.
Gay marriage is wrong and if you incourage it, you will allow people to walk right into the gates of hell.
What does evil have in common with good?
The answer is nothing.
Not saying these people are evil BUT being Gay has nothing in common with being Christ like.
Being Gay is just like being a person who has a bad attitude. Some things come with being born. And we are given the hand we are delt. BUT we have to make ourselves resist the FLESH and be more like Christ.
For one person, sex or being Gay may be a battle in life, for someone else being argumentative or having a desire for lots of money may be someone elses.
Either way we have to separate ourselves from the World and Worldly things.
Otherwise you will be what the Bible calls 'Lukewarm'. And God will spit you out for being LUKEWARM.
We as Christians are all for peace and letting everyone exercise their God given free will. But we should not condone unGodly behavior.
Point blank. Nothing left to be said.
