Worcester Police Sergeant Interview, " Larry Cirignano, Catholic Citizenship President Admits to Pushing Sarah Loy Down."

"Take A Stand For Democracy" Rally Organizers Still Have Not Taken "A Stand Start_1_1 Against Violence" and Acknowledged Wrongdoing in Saturday's Assault on a Young Woman

It has just been put out on the wire by a reporter at EdgeBoston that in an interview with eyewitnesses and the police that Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst of the Worcester Police Department has gone on record saying that Larry Cirignano admitted to him that he "pushed down" Sarah Loy at Saturday's Rally at the Worcester City Hall.

Peter Cassels, Edge National News Editor reports, Officers did not witness the incident, Worcester police spokesperson Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst told EDGE Dec. 19. If they had, they would have placed Cirignano under arrest on a misdemeanor charge, he said. "He’s already admitted that he touched her," Hazelhurst reported. Under Massachusetts law, a person can be charged with assault and battery by merely touching another person if the touch is unwanted, Hazelhurst explained. "He pushed her down and he admits that as well."

So, here you have it.  Eyewitnesses including a journalist from the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, all who will be testifying in the Criminal Hearing for Assault and Battery.  KnowThyNeighbor, The Gay And Lesbian Anti-Violence Project and MassEquality have all formally called for Larry Cirigano's resignation, and NOW we have police testimony that Cirignano himself admitted to "pushing down" Sarah Loy contradicting his statements in The Boston Globe.

This guy has got to step down immediately and VoteOnMarriage, The Massachusetts Family Institute and the Catholic Citizenship need to own up to Cirignano's actions and give an apology to Sarah Loy.  For a second I almost wrote "and the LGBT Community."  But we need to sit back for one moment and understand the nature of this assault.  This was an assault first on a citizen who was exercising her right of free speech.  Secondly, it was an assault by a man on a woman.  And Thirdly, and I conclude this with the comment that this list is NOT in order of importance, necessarily...this was an assault by a man on a woman who, by the nature of this rally may have been perceived or assumed to be a lesbian.  KnowThyNeighbor stands by our conviction that Larry Cirignano and his associates need to apologize to All of us

I have called for Cardinal O'Maley to act:

But, wait, I thought it was the girl's fault he charged 30 feet into the crowd and pushed her over?

This sounds like the best sort of hearsay evidence: a confession. That's more Catholic isn't it now? I hope Mr. Cirignano will now apologize to Mrs. Loy, and ask the whole world to forgive him. Even this lapsed Episcopal will forgive him, after all we do general confession in that sect I grew up in.

That's the thing Steven, there is no accountability. If there had not been proof positive of what had occurred we may have never gotten the confession. But there is still no appology. This happened on Saturday, here we are on Wednesday, and still no word from any of the Catholic officials on this. People are calling to picket Cardinal O'Maley, but I have said let's give him some time.

Looks like we will get a vote on Jan 2

The SJC will not order it, but will send a strong signal that the lege isn't fulfilling its obligation.

This and the threat of lawsuits will hopefully give us a vote.

Now that VoteonMarriage has sued everyone they wanted favor with I am sure one of two things will happen. If they do vote, they will vote against this measure and we will be done with this foolishness once and for all. More likely they will wipe their asses with this petition as it is not worth the paper its printed on.

Dang John...you are up early!

My bullshit beeper goes off every time Patriot posts.

Gotcha....

Well Good Morning to you.

The new edition of baywindows is out.

Hosty the media star

You are a deceptive and manipulating man

This whole thing was a setup and you know it

Just remember we won't stop

Ya, we knew all we had to do is show up at the rally for "democracy" and Larry would push a woman down. The bitch had it coming, right?

You make me sick.

You just can't stop lying to yourself and in general, can you PATRIOT.

You're forever a joke. Still a joke. Tomorrow a joke.

"You want violence, you GOT violence."

Liar.

JOKE.

Ever hear of something called "seperation of powers" Parrot? No, IDIOT, The SJC CANNOT order the legislature to vote! When the Convention does meet again on the 2nd they will more likely put this disgusting amendment at the END of the list or simply just fillibuster it! Ahhh...justice at last! Doesn't the air of FREEDOM smell wonderful parrot? IDIOT! LMAO!

You don't even have the grapes to address me in person. you are a coward, and I don't take threats from cowards seriously.

You people have shot yourselves in the foot...YET AGAIN.

You have insulted the Legislature with your lawsuit and your outrageous ignorance of law and due process.

You will not get the vote and you know it.

One word: toast.

"Ever hear of something called 'seperation of powers'"

"No, IDIOT, The SJC CANNOT order the legislature to vote"

MH, the SJC, by your estimation, violated it's powers when it ordered the legislature to legalize homosexual marriage. Remember, it was the homosexual activists that started this, not the conservatives who are now engaging in the battle to defend the institution of marriage.

Merry Christmas to all!

"God bless the homosexual activists

each and every one of them..."

maybe I'll go watch Charilie Brown Christmas and cry a little.

maybe.

"Remember, it was the homosexual activists that started this"

Nope. Wrong. Uh uh.

You guys started it by thinking we are lesser human beings than you, undeserving of the same kind of life, and then acting on that prejudice by producing your anti-family, anti-American petition drive/amendment.

This whole thing is about us reclaiming our lives and our dignity, and about the bullies finally getting what they've had coming for a VERY long time: having to deal with us on an equal playing field.

Deal.

"Merry Christmas to all!"

CC, is this a sincere blessing?

Because if it is, you have NO PLACE extending that here.
